It came to my awareness that everything surrounding the restaurant experience is about forging connections. From the farmer, to the supplier, to the cook, to the server, to the diner - and everybody in between - the nurturing shown along each connecting point is the biggest difference from bad to good and from good to great.
And through the process of writing a comic book, it came to my awareness that good chefs are inherently good storytellers. They know how to translate their philosophies into a cohesive narration that can be understood by others.
